MORE MOHAIR ON THE WAY

Shearing Day on the Farm. Miracle and Finny were sheared a little late this year and I had to put sweaters on them to keep them warm. They are currently spending most of their time in the barn and they are not to happy about it.
I will be sending this mohair away to be mixed with Blue Faced Leicester Wool. It is going to make fabulous sock yarn. This yarn will be posted for sale when it comes back from processing and it will be in either white or custom dyed colours.

You cannot go out into the pasture with a camera in your hand and expect to just stand there and take pictures. Donkeys are so curious and automatically come up to see what you are doing. It then becomes a competition to see who gets to stand the closest to you. I was trying to get a good picture of Sara on this day and she just would not comply she kept hiding behind the other donkeys. I did however finally get a decent one.
