GIVING THANKS FOR A GREAT SATURDAY

Yesterday was day one of our Thanksgiving Cele-BRAY-tion and it was a wonderful day.  We had TEN sponsorships and lots of sales of Christmas cards and our brand new calendar featuring our beautiful and handsome donkeys.  And you should see the incredible baking that one of our members, Dalelyn made.  Cookies and bite sized cupcakes - even donkey shaped cookies.  Yummy.
The weather was lovely and promises to be just as good today.  I am on my way to the Refuge shortly to help with chores and then make hot chocolate.  I promised I will wash up after chores.
Thank you, thank you , thank you to everyone who attended yesterday for your enthusiasm about our donkeys and for your generosity.  Your investment in our donkeys' welfare ensures that we can continue our mission to rescue, rehabilitate and offer a permanent home to our amazing "beasts of burden".

    We had a wonderful time with you all this Saturday! There is nothing like the peacefulness of being with the donkeys - with shopping and goodies, too, my heart is full of Thanksgiving!

    Hi Cindy - thank you for joining us and for your kind support of our wonderful donkeys. It is peaceful at the Refuge. My tummy is full of Thanksgiving. My heart is always happy after I spend time with the donks.
