ALASKA DONKEYS ON THEIR WAY

Shirley's  Posting on Turtle Valley Donkey Refuge Facebook:
Today I write about two little donkeys named Hilda and Marguerita who are traveling by trailer from Alaska to the Donkey Refuge. This is a 5 to 6 day travel time and they will be arriving hopefully by Saturday. The owner of these lovely girls is unable to take her donkeys with her and she just did not want to leave them in the northern country climate in case they were not given the proper protection from the cold winter weather.
Hilda and Marguerita

As the traveling time progresses and I hear that they are getting closer I wonder what they are feeling about what they are experiencing. I want Hilda and Marguerita to travel safely to the Refuge where we will have a large and comfy barn waiting for them and lots of quiet attention while they recover from the very long trip from Palmer Alaska to Chase British Columbia a trip of over 2000 miles. Please send warm and loving wishes to these two donkeys as they proceed through this very long and arduous journey.
