The Turtle Valley Donkey Refuge Society is a 50 acre facility located at 7877 Skimikin Road in the Turtle Valley near Chase, BC. We are dedicated to rehabilitating and caring for unwanted, surrendered, abused and neglected donkeys.
When donkeys are abused they require years of special care, costly vet and farrier work and years of love and devotion to heal the scars made by man. We are blessed to be able to facilitate this healing with love and care.

Canada Day Parade Float wins 1st Prize for the Donkeys
A Big Bray-Out Thank You to Laura, Jerry and Hunter who worked for months to design
and build this wonderful float for the Canada Day Parade. The soaring
Balloon kicks off our Fundraising for the Satellite Farm with the Donkey
Refuge soaring in to the future with our Expansion. The Donkeys and
Volunteers are down at the Blind Bay Park taking donations towards the
funds needed to set up the New Farm Expansion. If you can't make the
Parade you can message me to set up a Donation towards the Expansion of
the 2nd Farm for the Donkeys. Construction begins in September 2013.
