Last
night at Dinner time we had to call Jay our Veterinarian out to stitch
up a cut on Pueblo's foot. Poor Pueblo was in a lot of pain and
bleeding like crazy when I went up to do the dinner time feed. 4
Stitches later and two weeks of confinement
should put Pueblo back to normal. Luckily he did not cut any thing
other than his skin but it was a deep hole that is a fact. On my Wish
List for the Donkey Refuge is an Infirmary Area where we can put a
donkey and His/Her best friend while they heal from their ailments or
injuries. Right now Pueblo has to stay in the one barn in order to keep
his foot clean and dry.
