DONKEYS GET THEIR MEDICINE

Every three months or so all the donkeys get worm medicine. The medicine is a thick paste that comes in a syringe and is squirted into their mouths. It can't taste very good because only two of the donkeys - Jack and Ruby - came back for more. Our job as volunteers was to halter the donkeys. Rob's job was to administer the worm paste. I am glad that my job was to catch and halter donkeys as it was definitely the easier job. After we recovered from watching Rob work so hard, we took three of the donkeys, Jose, Hoss and Tiny Tim for a long walk. What a lovely day at the Refuge. Again!
