Good Morning - Well I was sure that something amazing was going to happen at the Refuge last Wednesday but I must not have been paying attention as I seem to have missed it. I am back there today so will do a better job of noticing. Or, maybe just being able to go to the Refuge is AMAZING in itself. Hmmmm!
DonkeyMan Rob and our Little Cuties, Margherita and Hilda are off to Kamloops to visit The Horse Barn today. They will be there from about 10 am until mid-afternoon so make sure to take the short drive across the Red Bridge (if it is open) and see them. They are tiny and Margherita has black and white spots. I think she looks like a dalmation but most think she looks like a little cow. Anyway, she is a sweet little donkey that you will be glad to meet.
Rob will be selling memberships and other great stuff today so if you are coming to the Pancake Breakfast on September 9th and want to get your membership early so you can eat for FREE, today would be a great time to do so.

The Turtle Valley Donkey Refuge Society is a 50 acre facility located at 7877 Skimikin Road in the Turtle Valley near Chase, BC. We are dedicated to rehabilitating and caring for unwanted, surrendered, abused and neglected donkeys. When donkeys are abused they require years of special care, costly vet and farrier work and years of love and devotion to heal the scars made by man.
