OUR NEWEST DONKEY - JENNY

Meet Jenny who arrived at the Refuge on Wednesday. Jenny lost her best donkey friend the weekend before. The donkey friend had been killed, dragged and gutted by a bear or a cougar. The owner of Jenny was very worried that the bear or cougar that did the damage would come back for Jenny so she brought Jenny to the Refuge to enjoy a permanent and safe home. We are finding Jenny a little out of sorts from all the trauma but she is in the barn next to Rosie who is also awaiting her time to join the herd. We are hoping Jenny and Rosie make friends so that they can go in to the same herd together. Send hugs to Jenny as she heals from her trauma of losing her best friend of 15 years in such a horrific manner.
