This Saturday, September 7th is our Annual Pancake Day Fundraiser at the Refuge where we will be serving up breakfast with the Donkeys, renewing memberships, and signing up Bray-Ve Hearts to support the growth of the Refuge. Did you know that we are also having a SILENT AUCTION with amazing items to bid on?
Can't attend? No problem!

THOSE WHO CANNOT ATTEND CAN STILL BID ON THE AUCTION ITEMS.  If you wish to bid on an item, just send an email to and include your name, full address, phone number, item number and brief description, and the MAXIMUM you wish to bid on that item. The silent auction coordinator will bid for you up to your maximum bid and if you win the item we will contact you to congratulate you and get your credit card information for payment. If you want that item and money is no object just put "whatever it takes" as the maximum bid amount. We will get you your item for the best price we can. Many of the items will have a respectful minimum opening bid - remember this is a fundraiser and the items are valuable. Note: bid increases must be at least $5 more than the previous bid.

Here are the items for auction so far:

LLADRO "donkey at rest" figurine. This beautiful donkey is 11.25 inches long and 6.5 inches high and is soft grey-blue in color. This piece has been retired by Lladro and no longer available from retailers. Of special note: this figurine was part of a wonderful collection of donkeys that was donated to us for resale when its owner passed away. It was then purchased by one of our generous supporters who has graciously donated it back to us specifically for this auction. WOW!!! Minimum opening bid: $150
