Volunteer Photographers

On Wednesday we had two Photographers Lyle and Karen and their daughter Janna come visit the farm. They went out into the fields and captured some really nice pictures of the donkeys. The main head shots will be used for our Donkey Spnsorship Cards and photo albums. It was so nice to have someone who knew what they were doing that can capture the right lighting and angles to get the true picture of the donkeys. Of course the donkeys were very curious at first and came right up and visited and then were off again into the pasture for more important things to do. Hence this nice shot of what we see every day. Isn't it grand. We are counting down the days until the Donkey Day event and getting alot done. Now we are hoping the weather cooperates.
The Farriers were also here this last week and besides trimming everyone they also worked on Lady's bad hoof. They trimmed the outer hoof back some more and found where it is re-connecting with the inner hoof so that was very good news. We are very thankful to Valley Farriers for their very good service and caring attitude.
I am busy trying to keep ahead of the weeds in the garden and keeping everything watered as it has been very hot here. All and all it has been a good week. Have a good weekend. Cheers.
